Enter a date on its own like this: 23/01/2012 (dd/mm/yyyy) to show all images taken on that day.

Images between two days

Enter two dates like this: 23/01/2012-26/01/2012 with a hypen '-' between them.

Image name

If you know the name of the image you are searching for, enter it on its own like this: name: garden-party-004.

Event name

To search for all images from the same event, enter the first part of the image name, like this: event: garden-party.
